AxisBackUP is a managed service that works for you automatically. You decide what information you want protected, including data, operating systems, system settings and more. One of our network engineers will consult with you to setup your backups, test them and give you instruction on our easy-to-use backup management panel that keeps you in control.

AxisBackUP is a proven, dependable system that does not require administrator access to any of your servers. In some cases, a small software application is loaded onto your server, which organizes your data for protection.

Initially, all of the data you designate is backed up to an AxisBackUP server as the initial backup. This backup may take some time to complete since all of your data is transferred at once. Your data is compressed and is transmitted via SMB, tar over ssh/rsh/nfs, or rsync over ssh. This ensures robust, reliable and secure backups of your important data. After the initial backup of all of your data, AxisBackUP automatically backs up only the new data and changes you've made to the data backed up previously. This incremental backup feature ensures that all of your data is always safe while minimizing bandwidth usage and cost. You can keep up to 30 versions of every file you store.

While AxisBackUP is a fully managed service that is continually monitored, you can monitor your backups, change your configuration and access and restore your data through the AxisBackUP web-based control panel. Restoring data is as easy as selecting the file(s) needed and downloading. Access requires an 8 to 32 character password that only you know.
