MAC System 7, OS 8.x Open Transport Setup
Following are the steps to set up dial-up networking on your computer for your AxisInternet dial-up account.
Please Note: In order to configure your dial-up connection on your computer, you will need to know the local AxisInternet access number for your area. If you do not already have this, please Click Here to find one now.
1. From the Apple menu, choose Control Panels, and choose PPP.

2. Click the Registered User radio button in the Connection Area.
3. In the Name field, enter your AxisInternet user name.
4. In the Password field, enter your password.
5. Check the box next to Save Password.
6. In the Number field, enter your local AxisInternet access number.
7. Click the Options button.

8. Click on the Connection tab.
9. Check the box next to Connect automatically when starting TCP/IP applications.

10. Click on the Protocol tab.
11. Check the box next to Allow error correction and compression in modem.
12. Check the box next to Use TCP header compression.
13. Uncheck the box next to Connect to a command-line host.
14. Click the OK button.

15. Close the PPP window.
16. Click the Save button.

17. From the Apple menu, click Control Panels, and choose TCP/IP.

18. Click the arrow box on the Connect via pop-up list and choose PPP.
19. Click the arrow box on the Configure pop-up list and choose Using PPP Server.
20. Close the TCP/IP window.

21. Click the Save button.
