Windows 95 & 98 Dial-Up Networking Setup
Following are the steps to setup dial-up networking on your computer for your AxisInternet dial-up account. If you do not already have dial-up networking installed, you will need to do that first. Click here for help on installing Dial-up Networking on your computer.
Please Note: In order to configure your dial-up connection on your computer, you will need to know the local AxisInternet access number for your area. If you do not already have this, please Click Here to find one now.
1. Double-click on the My Computer icon on your Desktop.
2. Double-click on the Dial-Up Networking icon on My Computer.
3. Double-click Make New Connection, or click next if prompted.
4. Enter "AxisInternet" for the Name of the computer you are dialing.
5. Be sure your modem is selected in the Select a Device field. If not, select it now.
6. Click Next.
7. Enter your local AxisInternet access number here.
8. Click Next.
9. Click Finish.

10. Click once on the AxisInternet icon now showing in your Dial-up Networking folder.
11. Select the File menu, then select Properties.
12. Click on the Server Types tab.
13. Under both Advanced Options and Allowed Network Protocols, uncheck everything except for TCP/IP.
14. Click OK until you are back to the Dial-Up Networking folder.
15. To connect, double-click the AxisInternet icon, enter your AxisInternet username in the
space labeled User Name, enter your password in the space labeled Password, then click Dial.
