Windows NT 4.0 Dial-Up Networking Setup
Following are the steps to set up dial-up networking on your computer for your AxisInternet dial-up account.
Please Note: In order to configure your dial-up connection on your computer, you will need to know the local AxisInternet access number for your area. If you do not already have this, please Click Here to find one now.
1. Double-click on the My Computer icon on your Desktop.
2. Double-click the Dial-Up Networking icon.
Note: if there is no Dial-Up Networking folder in My Computer, you will need to first install Dial-Up Networking.

3. A Dial-Up Networking window will then appear. Click OK to add an entry.
Note: If you already have entries configured, click New.
4. Enter "AxisInternet" for the Name of the new phonebook entry.
5. Check the box next to I know all about phonebook entries and would rather edit the properties directly.
6. Click Finish.

7. Uncheck the box next to Use Telephony dialing properties.
8. In the Phone number box, type your local AxisInternet access number.
9. Uncheck the box next to Use another port if busy.

10. Click on the Server tab.
11. Uncheck the box next to Enable PPP LCP extensions.
12. Check the box next to TCP/IP.

13. Click on the Security tab.
14. Click the Accept any authentication including clear text radio button in the Authentication and encryption policy area.
15. Click OK.

16. Click Dial.

17. In the Username field enter your AxisInternet username.
18. In the Password field enter your password.
19. Make sure the Domain field is blank.
20. Check the box next to Save Password if you wish to have your password saved.
21. Click OK.
