Windows XP Dial-Up Networking Setup
Following are the steps to set up dial-up networking on your computer for your AxisInternet dial-up account.
Please Note: In order to configure your dial-up connection on your computer, you will need to know the local AxisInternet access number for your area. If you do not already have this, please Click Here to find one now.
1. From the Start menu, select Control Panel.

Note: If you are running XP in classic mode, you will need to select the Start menu, select Settings, and then choose Control Panel.

2. Click the Switch to Classic View icon.

3. Double-click the Network Connections icon.
4. Click the Create a new connection icon.

5. Click Next.

6. Select Connect to the Internet.
7. Click Next.

8. Select Set up my connection manually.
9. Click Next.

10. Select Connect using a dial-up modem.
11. Click Next.

12. In the ISP Name field, type "AxisInternet"
13. Click Next.

14. In the Phone number field, enter your local AxisInternet access number.
15. Click Next.

16. In the User name field, enter your AxisInternet user name.
17. In the Password field, enter your password.
18. In the Confirm Password, enter your password again.
19. Click Next.

20. Check the box next to Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop.
21. Click Finish.

22. To dial, double-click the AxisInternet icon on your desktop.
