Eudora 5.x Email Setup (Windows)

Following are the steps to set up your AxisInternet email account in Eudora 5.x under Windows using the Eudora account Setup Wizard that is displayed the first time your run Eudora after installing it on your computer.

1. Open Eudora.
2. Click the Next button.



3. Click the Create a brand new email account radio button in the Account Settings area.
4. Click the Next button.



5. In the Your Name field, type your full name.
6. Click the Next button.



7. In the Email Address field, type your entire @axint.net email address.
8. Click the Next button.



9. In the Login Name field, again, type in your entire @axint.net email address.
10. Click the Next button.



11. In the Incoming Server field, enter pop.axint.net.
12. Select POP.
13. Click the Next button.



14. In the Outgoing Server field, enter smtp.axint.net.
15. Click the Next button.



16. Click the Finish button.



17. In the main Eudora window, from the Tools menu, choose Options.



18. Choose Getting Started from the Category list.
19. In the Login Name field, type in your entire @axint.net email address.
20. In the SMTP Server (Outgoing) field, enter smtp.axint.net.
21. Check the box next to Allow authentication.
22. Click the OK button.



23. Upon sending an email message, a box will appear prompting for the password to send email.



24. Congratulations - Eudora is now setup for your AxisInternet email account.
