Outlook 98 Email Setup

Following are the steps to set up your AxisInternet email account in Outlook 98 for Windows.

1. Open Outlook 98.
2. From the Tools menu, choose Services.



3. Click the Add button and choose Internet E-Mail.
4. Click OK




5. On the General tab, enter "AxisInternet" in the field labeled Mail Account
6. In the field labeled Name, enter your full name.
7. In the field labeled E-mail address enter your full AxisInternet email address.



8. Click on the Servers tab.
9. In the field labeled Incoming mail (POP3) enter pop.axint.net.
10. In the field labeled Outgoing mail (SMTP) enter smtp.axint.net.
11. Check the box next to My server requires authentication under Outgoing Mail Server.



12. Click on the Connection tab.
13. Select I will establish my Internet connection manually
14. Click the OK button.



15. Click the OK button.
16. Congratulations - Outlook 98 is now set up for your AxisInternet email account.
