Outlook 98 Email Setup

Following are the steps to set up your AxisInternet email account in Outlook 98 for Windows.

1. Open Outlook 98.
2. From the Tools menu, choose Accounts (If you do not see an Accounts option on the Tools menu, please click here).



3. Click the Add button and choose Mail.



4. In the Display Name field, type in your full name.
5. Click the Next button.



6. In the E-mail address field, enter your full AxisInternet email address.
7. Click on the Next button.



8. Click the down arrow on the My incoming mail server is a ____ server drop-down list and choose POP3.
9. In the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP) server field, enter pop.axint.net.
10. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server field, enter smtp.axint.net.
11. Click the Next button.



12. In the Account name field, type in your full AxisInternet email address.
13. In the Password field, type in your password.
14. Check the box next to Remember password.
15. Click the Next button.



16. Select I will establish my Internet connection manually, then click Next.



17. Click the Finish button.
18. Click the Close button.
19. Congratulations - Outlook 98 is now set up for your AxisInternet email account.
